Also, I backed up the SMS and it stays where it is trying to put the file from the phone and nothing happens.

Here is a link to go from IMM76K to IMM76Q:

I'm interested in flashing custom roms on my Galaxy Nexus and I came across this great tool. However, I have a question about restoring stock recovery.
My Galaxy Nexus is bought from HK, yakuzs, and it comes with a Chinese input that is unique to the HK version.
But Samsung is really slow in pushing out the updates for the GN.
I would like to play with JB, but also be able to go back to the original rom to do OTA if the update comes out.
I know how to do a backup of the original rom with CMW, but I read you need stock recovery to do OTA.
How can I back up my stock recovery so that I can do OTA updates in the future?
Also it says unroot, I need to flash stock, but I don't think Google provides a stock image of yakuzs.
Is there a difference between a factory image and a backed up rom?
Thanks

I have a Nexus S i9020a with Jelly Bean and an unlocked bootloader . I tried running the root process, and it always froze at the TWR screen (it never rebooted). I now see that when I choose the i9020a version as either Jelly Bean JRO03E or SOJUA Android ** ** Any Build, the version is shown as the Global i9020t version. If I select ICS 4.0.4, it shows the proper i9020a version, but selecting JB brings it back to the Global version. Can anybody duplicate this error, or am I up way too far past my bedtime?
Any help will be appreciated!

Welcome to the forum! Unfortunately, we don't support the Nexus S here (just the Galaxy Nexus). Check out our sister site. They should be able to help you.

Sorry about that, but this was the link to the help thread on the Nexus Root Toolkit, and thought this was the right place to go. Sorry again.

When I rebooted into recovery mode, after the rooting process, everything worked perfectly. Few days later I decided to go back into recovery mode but when i restart the terminal, it won't run clockworkmod(showing an android with ared symbol). I thought clockworkmod has been uninstalled (possible?). So I removed the battery. I turned on the terminal and started again ROM Manager to flash the recovery again. Reboot into recovery and it worked! But it works only on the first reboot! It seems like if I lose it every time i restart my smarthphone. How can I fix this?
Sorry for my english :P
Thanks.

That comment is from a long-long time ago. I fixed that mistake in v1.3.. There should be a recovery-from-boot.p.bak file. What is your problem specifically?

WugFresh you are the man! I (somehow) backed up and rooted my imported YMM76K "Yakjuzs" device, and it's all thanks to your program.
That said, my soul reason was so I can get it into the google yakju build so I can timely get Jelly Bean. So now that I'm rooted and backed up, what do I do now? And do I add my backup I created BEFORE or AFTER i manage to change the build to Yakju?
Thanks so much for all your help and the amazing program you made!
*****EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT EDIT ****
Nevermind the above post question, I am now successfully running Jelly Bean all thanks to WugFresh's toolkit! It took me like 4 hours, simply because I am utterly clueless about this, but if I were to do it again, it would take me mere minutes, thanks again WugFresh.
