***In order for CWM to stick and avoid having to flash it every time, you need to Install Root Explorer or ES File Explorer (free) from the market and delete or rename the file "recovery-from-boot.p" found in /system *Mount as R/W first* See this link for help

Brilliant. Was so easy to do. Although you might want to put in the instructions to make sure that you reactivate USB Debugging. Had a little bit of a time with that until I figured that little issue out. But otherwise it went incredibly smooth.

I have never seen this file.. lol. I am so confused.. and I have now reflashed my phone 1 billions times. Maybe when you re-flash clockwork with the app it deletes that file?

It depends on the method used. The original CWM method posted left the file and it had to be deleted or changed. I have the renamed file on mine. Before I renamed, I had to use RM to flash it each time.

I used the original clockwork method. I have legitimately never seen that file in my system directory.

I just went through this yesterday and didn't see the file, myself. It could be something along the way has changed and we might consider updating the instructions to reflect? I know that slowed me down since I was afraid I was having a "special" moment when I couldn't locate the file.

Are you guys running custom ROMs? May have been removed intentionally from them. I only had to modify it once, when the phone was stock but rooted.

    Tapped via Galaxy Nexus LTE..
