I bought my Gnex on Friday and was unable to connect it to the Home WiFi. Spent an hour on the phone with Verizon and then with Samsung. They told me to take the phone back and get a new one. Confirmed at the Verizon store that it would not connect to WiFi. Got a new phone and confirmed at the store that it would connect to WiFi. Got home and unfortunately I allowed the phone to install updates before connecting to WiFi. Needless to say it did the same thing and would not connect, just says Saved and does nothing. No WiFi symbol even shows up in the notification bar.
Was on the phone with Samsung today and they are unaware of any issues but think it could be a software issue. I have tried everything (i think). I am going back to the Verizon store tomorrow to confirm that it will not connect to their WiFi after the software update. Not sure what I am going to do. If it is a software issue you think everyone would be having this problem. Any help would be appreciated.
Well I figured out what my problem was. The GNex cannot handle a network name with a space in it. My network name was two words with a space between. As soon as I changed the network name to one word it worked perfectly. Hope this helps others.
Glad you figured it out. Congrats!

good information. Yeah its always a good naming convention to disallow spaces with any network address. You will usually want to use underscore instead of a - or any other symbols including spaces!
