I always hit the restore ID option. I think what that does is it sets the ID # that Google Play uses in the market to ID the device. I've stopped getting more and more devices showing up in my drop down menu of devices to install apps after I starting using that option. Or, you could press the create new ID and see if you get another option in the menu, then next time, use the same one.

This actually happened to me yesterday...totally random. It was set at 1350 max with interactive, and set on boot was checked. The phone had been on all day without any issues, then out of nowhere it got super laggy just scrolling through home screens. Checked my performance settings, and what do you know, max set itself to 700.

I'm just giving xenonHD 412 and using the trinity kernel and well happy with it. Since I switched to trinity my battery has been so much better. Was using the lean kernel very fast but not as good on the battery side of things. Out off the many I've tried I think this is the one I'm sticking with. Strange one that with the 700 max,

Looks like Codename 3.8 just hit. Might try again to see if my phone will stay at 700mHz on this new release. No mention of a fix for this problem though in the release changelog notes ....we'll see what happens.
Chances are its an issue with the kernel itself and not the rom

Didn't change any kernels, I was using the stock kernel that came with CNA 3.6.6. If you are correct that it has something to do with the kernel it's right back to the Rom itself having some issue resetting, going to try and install CNA 3.8 today and see what happens. Went back to AOKP JB build #4 and had no issue with the phone resetting to 700mHz. Still a mystery.....I have installed several roms on my GN and this is a first time with this issue.
Right, it could be an issue with the kernel that came stock with the rom; it doesn't mean the rom itself is the issue. You could flash a different kernel independent of the rom.
Let me know how 3.8 goes for ya! I might be interested in giving it a go now that it has emoji support (my girlfriend likes to send emojis from her iPhone from time to time, so it's nice to see what they actually are instead of some tiny black and white things)
