Battery saver Apps (like Juice defender) - need recommendations, setting recommendati
I'd like to improve my battery life as much as I can.
I know that turning down the screen backlight can help, but I like my screen mid-level bright, I'm looking for other tweaks.
There are many apps like Juice Defender and Battery Saver, that make it easier to tweak settings.
Please share you preferred (favorite) battery tweaking APP and the settings you've set within the app.
This will save me quite some time experimenting.

Turning off the sync for calendar, contacts, and Google photos under your Google account settings will help save a good amount. I have all of them except gmail turned off and just turn them back on to sync once a day or after making changes and then turn them back off.
Using the battery saving apps can sometimes cause some issues., They turn your data off and turn it back on at certain times to receive stuff like email and such. If you were to receive a picture message when data is off, sometimes it won't receive it when data comes back on. If you need email pushed as soon as you get them then I wouldn't use the apps. You'll only receive data stuff every so often. If you want to try one I'd pick juice defender but I don't like using them at all really.
