Face Unlock questions

So i believe the face unlock app is pretty cool. The only thing is it gets pretty annoying to have to do every time i unlock phone for a text. Does anyone know of a way to make the phone wait a certain period of time before the face unlock turns on ???

The only way to do this is (that I know of) is to increase the screen time out on the phone or turn off the screen lock. no matter what way you choose to unlock the screen it is going to lock as soon as the screen turns off.

This is what it seems. I was just hoping it would be possible to have the slide unlock come up for like 5 minutes and then would show the face lock. Possible???
