"Check-in" on Google Maps disappeared after factory reset

    Hi

I'm eagerly awaiting for JB OTA update. I was believing that by clearing google service frame work data I would get the OTA update. I tried it for multiple times. But no OTA updates received rather it gave me some trouble in using Google related services. So I did reset my device to factory settings. After that I could not see "Check-in" options on Google maps (pls see the screenshot below). Can anyone help me to solve this issue!

    OS: Android 4.0.4 ICS

Since you did a factory reset, the apps were also reset to the old versions. Could you check on your maps and see if they are updated?

After factory reset, I did update the maps to the latest version. The current version of maps I am running is 6.10.0(#610020)

Mine still shows. Have you done any unchecking on the locations perhaps?
