Can you point Play Music to a Network Drive?
Sorry in advance if this is posted in the wrong section... I'm trying to figure out how to simulate the Sonos experience with my Gnex (and soon to come Nexus 7), 7.1 receiver and a network hard drive. What I was thinking was this:
1. Play Music points to a network drive that contains all my music
2. Send music to reciever (which powers a set of outdoor speakers and also feeds audio to my BR Surround Sound system) via Logitech Bluetooth Reciever from GNex
3. Reciever sends audio to outdoor speakers and/or BR Surround Sound
Is this even possible? Is their an easier way to do this? I really like the sonos system because it does what it does really well BUT I'm not sure its worth the $350 for the Sonos Connect if I can do it with just buying the Logitech Bluetooth Reciever. Currently when i play music through this setup I just connect the GNex right into the receiver but it would be nice to do it from my deck when i want to change albums/songs/playlists/etc.
