Keyboard lag anyone?

When using the stock Keyboard I have some moderate lag at times. This lag increases exponentially after the battery is less than 20%. And as the battery drains from there that I can type several words and I have to wait about 3 seconds after I have finished typing for the words to show on the screen.

I do type fast but I've never had a problem on my DX.

I've noticed it only in Tapatalk so far. It will fall behind and spit out a half dozen or so letters all at once.

That's where I have noticed it as well. I haven't done much typing anywhere else.

I've done quite a bit in the browser, stock Messaging app, other third party messenger, Maps, my Notes app, banking app, signing in to various other things. Have only noticed it in Tapatalk. Hoping it just needs an ICS update, don't figure it should take too long.

I've noticed it in all the texting apps too..

For me tapatalk lags a lot in general but ics keyboard does lag. Tried swiftkey and it was worse.

You're apparently not a Motorola Xoom owner... keyboard/typing lag has been a problem since day 1 and we've received multiple updates and none of them fix the typing lag...

Hoping that ICS fixes it on the Xoom...

That being said, I don't seem to have any problem on my GN, and with the size and the new ICS keyboard I type faster than I ever did on my OG Droid.

No I'm not a Xoom owner, that's unfortunate. It's not terrible for me, I can deal with it if it takes a while.
