    Official waiting for the Jelly bean OTA update thread

    As you can see from my signature , i have a gsm galaxy nexus , yakju android version 4.0.4 , build IMM76I . I thought Id start a thread for those who dont want to root and want to wait for the update . Think of this as the waiting room for the ota update lol . Anyways discuss . ill start things off ,

    Anybody want to guess what day this month we will recieve the update ?

    I have been using the Google i/of release of jb since it came out. Only concern is some apps aren't compatible yet so I've downgraded and am now full stock again on yakju IMM76I. I'll just wait for ota as well

    If it would give me better reception at work I would be awaiting impatiently. Seems like the biggest change is google now which although interesting, is not that important to me.

    I honestly can not wait to get jelly bean via ota. I just got my galaxy nexus (GSM) and I didn't want to root it right away so I have been waiting for the ota Jelly Bean update. I hope that the update is released early this week (week of July 8th) since the whole dispute Samsung and apple had over this device. I hope they will push this ota update quickly.

    I loved my GNM Nexus with ICS 4.0.4 until they announced JB..!!!
    Suddenly I began to see the lags in ICS... and now can't wait for Jelly Bean and Butter......
    I think the week of 16th to 21st should be a realistic OTA time frame for the US.. and may be a week from there,for Europe..
    Anyways have fun waiting...

    i live in asia and ive got the IMM76K running non-rooted 4.0.4. i wish i get the OTA the same time as you guys will.

    what you need is a better service provider. i don't recall the Nexus having signal issues that is OS related.
