Wasn't getting the update at all. Until I followed your exact steps. Stopped, cleared data, restarted. As soon as I restarted and went to settings it prompted me with the "Android 4.1 System Update" screen.

    Installing now.

    Thanks for the tip!
    Spoke too soon

Got the "red exclamation mark" on the android during update and now it's booted back into 4.0.4 from reading other forums it seems like it's because of a different radio than it's expecting...

That's the reason why it failed. You need the xxla2 radio for the package verification to work. The reason is that the UG radio is originally meant for yakjuux and the jb update is for yakju/takju so you need to be on the correct images. You need to flash the xxla2 radio first

Thanks for your reply. Trying that right now. Reflashed with xxla2 radio and then using "
Method 2 - Stock recovery installed, Unlocked bootloader" from to install it - xda-developers - View Single Post - [REF] [HOW-TO] [GSM & CDMA] Official Google OTA update URLs -- Latest: JRO03C 4.1.1

I couldn't find how to get the actual OTA to start again as it keeps saying it's up to date.

CWM is going through the patching process right now.

    We'll see what happens.

After a few hours of reading through forum posts, trying a few things I finally got my 4.0.2 upgraded to 4.1.1 Jelly Bean it seems. It's booted up went the "upgrading android" screen and now I am on JRO03C build!

Thanks to everyone here and on other forums for writing up guides.
