Has anyone had any issues with Exchange with JB 4.1? I get my account all setup and it just sits there and says Waiting for Sync: your email will appear soon.

I'm assuming you're on a ROM with this? If so, which one?
There is a good chance that it's not a complete ROM. A lot of the 4.1 Roms are still in the works. I'd try reflashing or try a different ROM.
Here is what I am on.

LG Nexus 4 / AOKP JB-MR1 Build 2
ASUS Nexus 7 / BAKED BlackBean 7 RC
Panasonic Toughbook W8 / Kubuntu 12.04 LTS X86_64
i had this problem before syncing with the m.hotmail.com server. Try accessing it in WIFI again. It worked for me.
Ryanvan have you had any luck with this?? I have same exact issue. Frustrating beyond belief!!! Please let me know if you were able to resolve the "waiting for sync" hang-up.... Thanks!
Hi, I am also experiencing the same problem. All was fine until i did an over-the-air update to JB my exchange account was running fine. after the update i was getting "unable to connect to server" errors. I tried deleting the account and re-creating it. The account created fine and it found our exchange server, but i have the same error as the OP "waiting for Sync". I'd appreciate it if anyone who finds a fix can post it here. Thanks
Hi again. No sooner than i wrote the above i have just fixed mine! it was a simple case of the master "sync'ing" switch being tunred off. I didnt switch it off so i guess it was the JB update. anyway, from your home screen scroll all the way left and then turn on your sync option (where you can turn on wifi, GPS, auto brightness etc). Simple really - I dont know why i didnt think of that! anyway. I hope it helps others.
Just wanted to pass along that I have not had any issues connecting to my exchange account with any of the JB ROMs that I have tried (using stock corporate email). I do know that we are running Exchange Server 2010 and that there were issues with 2003 (not sure about 2007), so that could have something to do with it.
One thing you may want to try is deleting the account from your phone, then going into OWA and deleting the phone profile from there, and then start the setup on the phone over again. If your exchange server already has a profile setup for your phone, that could be causing issues.
