Saw the Reflected Icons on NerdsLogic's screen shot and thought I'd try my hand at creating one, what do y'all think should I do more ?

I really like the refelctive icon style. Can I asked how you did it. I have Gimp and wanted to try it myself but didn't really know where to start!

I opened the image and then copied it into a new image. Used the image~transform rotate 180 or flip vertically.

In the original image I moved the icon to the top (there was room) and then pasted the rotated image into it as a layer, slid it down till I liked it, then added some transparency to the reflected layer...

Give it a go.

Thanks Cyn. Just had a quick go. Not perfect but the idea is there! I'll do a whole set after work tomorrow I think.

Do you have a link to a set of those grey roostilabel icons with the blue border you've used above, or is that one you did yourself?

That's a one off I did for that home screen, it's a mod of the glowing gray ones

Thanks! I really like to keep my screens simple. I've got transparent icons in each of the androids as I wanted to keep the wallpaper clean.
