Just read WUG's guide and have a few questions.... My GNex is factory unlocked from Google on 4.04. His guide says you have to unlock then root... Is that the same with the Google GNex? His guide and quick root program was for 4.02, can that be used with 4.04? Sorry for the Noob questions but I'm new to android.

Your phone is CARRIER unlocked...meaning you can use it on att/T-Mobile wug means you need to unlock the BOOTLOADER. If that's unlocked you will see an unlocked padlock under the Google logo when you first boot your phone

OK update guys. I have flashed over gummy. Love it. I also flashed over gapps from a different source but they seem up to date. Thanks for all the help guys.
