Android OS is 25% of battery usage, is this normal?

    Before you flash anything can you get back to stock? How to get back to stock using Odin



    Have you backed up your files and pictures? I see too many desperate cries for help recovering deleted priceless pictures with no solution.

    Need to hard reset? How to Hard Reset-Factory Data Reset.

    Is that with stock though? Mine has never been that low since I bought the phone.

    I really don't think that should matter too much. IMO it has more to do with apps that are syncing or updating all the time. Juice Defender will stop the drain to some degree but your processor is still being used when it doesn't have to. One thing to try is removing your account in settings>accounts&sync. Power off and battery pull. Reboot and add your sync account. Only have the apps that you need to sync checked.

    Before I rooted and ROM'd my percentage was around the same, it could be the "Android OS" bug.

    Are you on 4.0.2 firmware? That seems to be the case for earlier firmware versions. This was fixed for GSM 4.0.4. My android os before was playing at 20% but now it doesn't go beyond 5%

    Check out the OS forum. There's manual, one click and some ways to update. I personally use the manual update method if I need to do it
