Plum crazy, I agree with you. I think the thunderbolt takes amazing photos. Go to photobucket and look up user LarryRCR and look at my Colorado pictures. There are about 550 amazing pictures from dirt bike riding that are all from this phone.
The Thunderbolt is (in my opinion) the current Android king of cameras.

Those aren't that bad of pictures! The inside ones lack a bit but those outside and even night pictures are great! And don't forget guys, all that is with no lag!
Swyped and sent through the interwebz directly to you from somewhere and some device that doesn't concern you!

Looks good enough to me. If i really want to capture something I tend to record videos. I use the camera to snap quick pics and send via text hardly ever load onto a PC. Strictly entertainment and laughs so it will get the job done. If i need something better I steal the GF's camera I bought her that she never uses lol

Every phone takes its fair share of bad pics. Lord knows my DX has. Its everything else this phone offers that sells it.

Still, I have to wonder why this hardware is NOT top-end, when one of Google's showcase improvements in ICS is the camera. I could care less about megapixels, but light range and quality should be cutting edge on this unit. I think this is a Sammy fail.

I think those pictures look fine, but I'm not a photographer. I take a metric crap ton of pictures though. If I we too guess, I'd have to think maybe 1000-1500 pictures per year with my phone.

Do your pictures have the same color and feel of the scenes they are showing? Is this what you saw with your own eyes? This is what it looked like?
