battery life at 70% after 1h 45m with extended battery!
Are you kidding me ? I have an extended battery on my phone and I am looking at it right now and it's at 70% after an hour and 45 minutes on battery. This is absolutely rediculous. I have my phone settings to CDMA only, no 4G, I have my screen super dim, sync is off, GPS is off, I don't know what else it could be and it is driving me nuts. I have barely used the phone, only for texting a few times, nothing else. I have swyped away recent apps, I don't have a task killer, google location services are on, and when I go to battery it says screen 36%, Android OS 25% sdcard 13%, Android system 5%, Cell stand-by 5% and some others with lower %. I do have music paradise and tune-in radio, not sure if any of those ciould be it. I don't know if any of that looks suspicious to anyone, please let me know. I can provide a list of a few other apps that I have if need-be in case it might be one of the apps. I need some help, I love my phone but I feel like I can't use it throught the day feeling like it is going to die. Thanks.

Aaaaaaand this is why I'm currently using a stupid iPhone.
Just wait till the next 4.0.X update is pushed; hopefully it'll fix it.

True, however, I have seen people at over 35 hours on battery at 75% and I am at 70% after less than 2 ? And I am conciousd of my battery life and doing everything I can to save battery including not using my phone. There's something wrong for sure.

Yeah, That was a red flag for me. I don't know if that has anything to do with my music dowload app or not.

That could be the culprit. What app is it? Try uninstalling it and see if the battery drain issue continues.

On my HTC Incredible 2, whenever I transferred music to the device from my laptop using Rhapsody to Go (not the Rhapsody app), the MTP service would stay running until manually shut down, and could wipe 20% of battery in about 10 minutes.

I had horrible battery life the first 3 or 4 days I had my Nexus...with the extended battery. I now get 15+ hours daily on my phone with my screen averaging 2+ hours a day. I am happy with it now because I can make it through the day with really no issues. Not sure what the sd card is as I have never seen that either. If the next 4.0.x update brings extended battery life I will be absolutely thrilled. I have 4G on all the time as well. I hope you get better luck with your phone. By the way, is the extended battery brand new? If so give it like 3 or 4 days and see what happens.

I've had my GN with extended battery for 6 days now, and battery life seems much better yesterday and today than the first several days. Day before yesterday I let it run all the way down to shutoff and then charged overnight with the phone off. Maybe that helped?? It's been on for about 10 hours today and is at 65% with moderate use.

I have done some extensive longevity battery tests and I can guarantee that no one can have the Nexus at 75% battery after being up for 35 hours. I have gotten almost two days on the standard battery. Approximately 32 hours of which I did not use the phone. Then I needed to use it and it went down hill.
