You can use the search bar. Just click the mic icon. Say "text "

Can't get it to pick the calendar contact. Works with my other contacts just fine. I'll mess with it later.

I had that problem. For some reason I think it takes a minute for voice actions to sync with your contacts.

Yep! Once I synced the "contact" with my google account it worked. Not sure how much I'll use it but it's neat to have the option!
