Setting Up "AutoFill When Dialing A Phone Number

In my HTC Incredible the phone would "suggest" possible numbers I was trying to dial as I typed in each number. This was based on a combination of previous usage as well as contacts and I found it very useful. With the GNex you have to type in the whole phone number even if it's a number you've called numerous times in the past. Is there any way to set the phone dialer to "suggest" possible numbers based on the first few numbers inputted?

im pretty sure theres no way to enable it in the stock dialer

TouchPal Dialer also works well for this.

Not sure if you're looking to flash ROMs, but some ROMs include the dialer from CM9, which looks just like stock, but has the T9 dialing that you want. I know that Axiom and GummyNex both have it and I'm sure others do too.

On Axiom, it has the T9 dialer, very nice add to have.
