Just downloaded it with no problems (running ICSourcery). Maybe try clearing cache (and data if needed) from the play store?

EDIT: OK, scratch that ^^ apparently that was some sort of cheat code app ... I don't see an actual app for the game.

Ah yes, I see - looking at it in the browser it tells me it's not compatible with the Nexus.

Try shooting the app dev an email ... see if they plan on updating for ICS compatibility.

It's EA, they don't care....for what it's worth I've been mortified by this on my Prime....Ordered a GNX from NewEgg....I hope I get a good one....I've been 0 for 2 with Android phones ......1st Nexus One was bad.......then I went through 2 G2x's before getting a working one....This doesn't bode well for my Galaxy Nexus lol...(for the Record, I always considered the G2x the "Nexus X" thanks to it's stock Android). Anyway, I wrote an email off to EA......the people who apparently hates investing in the future.....

I have an Asus Transformer Prime and would really like to play NBA Jam on it. I know it works because I have friends with rooted Asus Transformer Primes and they play it for hours on end flawlessly. Why can't I get this game on my Transformer Prime without having to root it? It is obviously compatible. Also I hear that this game is also not working on the Galaxy Nexus? Why is it that you have such a high quality game (Luckily it works for my G2x (running ICS) and my Iconia (Running ICS), that is unplayable on the two flagship devices in their respective categories. The Galaxy Nexus, the next step in the entire Android Phone Platform, the Ultimate refinement of the Android OS, married to a pleasantly ginormous device with very high specs. Then you have the Transformer Prime, the way shower to the future of Android tablets. The Prime is such an impressive piece of hardware that it convinced Google to use Asus for the next Nexus Device, a 7" Tablets with the exact same guts as the Prime. The Galaxy Nexus and the Transformer Prime are the very foundation for the future of the Android going forward. Not supporting either of them is basically not supporting the future and in business 101 you learn not to focus on the past but move actively towards the future. Please do actual testing because NBA Jam works flawlessly on my friends Prime, and great on my G2x and Iconia running ICS 4.0.3. So, claiming this is not compatible with ICS is kinda BS. I know it, and you know it. If you don't know it, I don't think you should have anything to do with computers going forward in your life. Bear in mind, I am not speaking to the reader of this directly as you may not have been in the discussion as to whether or not this game was compatible with what devices. However should this email reach whomever did make that choice, I stand proudly by my above statement with honor before your poor choices and dishonor you have caused to the Android community and the future of the platform.

HEY.....EA emailed me back, the good news IS....they are quick....But seem to avoid the question entirely....and reference some Question and Answer database that may not even have my answer and if it does it's probably so mired in lies that I would die a slow agonizing death just being in the lies presence. So, no, emailing EA is pointless, they ignore your emails and have a robot send you an email back basically say "Hey, JerkFace....way to go wasting your time typing an opinion, we don't care, go screw yourself. We are EA...we are GODS....Here, go see if our lies taste good....suck on those lies, poison your belly.....also, if you really need we have a japanese site..."

It's not compatible with the nexus. Don't bother trying to write EA they won't care.

Strange it works for me on Milestone 5...My friend sent me the APK and it downloaded the data files fine...The only issue is that the game restarts when you lock your phone to pause it.

I play it on my nexus...but am running custom Roms. That said, as quick mentioned...if it is not speced to work with stock nexus, then they will not be helpful. Understandably.
I cut corners till I break it.
