Manual flashing is always recommended, as ROM Manager (sometimes referred to as "ROM Mangler") has been known to cause problems.

This^^^. Many roms need gapps flashed in conjunction with the roms and if you forget gapps or it doesn't flash correctly you will not be able to (difficult) get rom manager installed.

Before you flash anything can you get back to stock? How to get back to stock using Odin

Have you backed up your files and pictures? I see too many desperate cries for help recovering deleted priceless pictures with no solution.

Curious if anyone has used the Mac version to unlock/root. Whenever I use ADB on Mac, the syntax I use is ./adb <command>. Does the "adb-mac" command function the same way?

    The redesign is almost complete.

There have been some delays due to my computer. It's a Dell M90 that it finally starting to give out. The fans have died and it over heats easily. It has been a good machine. It started with XP and has run vista, 7, and now Windows 8 beta. I don't have the cash to replace it right away, but I am working on it.

I plan on releasing several more guides is the next few weeks as well. Unfortunetely due to my computer I am not able to get as much done as quickly as I would like. As always if there is something you would like to see ASAP please let me know!

If you have Android SDK already configured then you just need to copy the fastboot file to the platform-tools folder and you should be good using your standard command

If you removed your previous version of SDK and ADB then you can download and use the SDK-tools just use the adb-mac, or ./adb-mac commands
