Cracked Screen

I bought my galaxy nexus 2 weeks ago and today... dropped it on tile while coming out of the bathroom!!!
The entire lower right corner is cracked and it spreads to the top of the screen T_T
I am currently with virgin mobile in canada.
what are my options on fixing it?
Does anyone have any experience with a similar problem?

Currently 11 pm and Im freaking out.............................

ugh, welcome to the forum. Too bad your first post had to be like this..
I agree with swalker, insurance is your best option.

You can try to repair it yourself, but it doesn't seem easy and seems costly ($356 USD) because all the guts of the phone are connected to the screen.

thanks for the reply but ive never heard of anyone in canada getting insurance on a cellphone
and as such... i do not have insurance.

do you think if i take it into the store or call customer service they can repair the phone?

I'm sure they can repair your phone. If not they will probably refer you to Samsung for repair but it won't be free.

There should be a 30 day warranty from them, I would have thought that Verizon would offer a warranty on the device for damage protection. I got mine from Rogers with 3 years, cracks, water, stolen/lost protection for like 130 bucks or something like that. Well worth the purchase on a phone this slippery and "sleek" framed.
