Cannot Route Phone Call through Car Audio System on Google Galaxy Nexus

I have the samsung car dock but it appears that it does not allow phone calls to be routed through the car audio system. Music plays fine but when I get a call it is routed through the phone speaker which bounces off the windshield and is impossible to hear.

I tried a routing app but they say samsung does not support phone calls through audio out.

Please help me...

Hmm. I just use the BT connection on my stereo for phone calls. I do not own the car dock. But I bet someone will offer you some help with your issue before you know it.

WHen you say audio out, do you mean the headphone jack? Because I plug mine into the AUX jack in my car and can hear my callers over the speakers.

most likely it is because speakerphone is by default activated as the the media profile when docks or otherwise non-headset audio is in use. for example my bionic has usb line out analog audio in dock mode, but i have to use tasker to automate turning off speakerphone. hope this helps

Yes, but I'm not using a dock. Just a cable into the aux jack.

Same here too. No dock, just aux cable.

@ronrockb - Have you tried it without using the dock? Seems nitephlight may be on to something.
