There is an update in the Market and they fixed it! I'm liking it, though I admit I do miss Swype, hopefully this will work out well for me

Tried SlideIt and Touchpal once I found out Swype didn't work on the GNex. Touchpal is way better at prediction and auto-correction than SlideIt. I'm really liking using Touchpal, especially after the update for the GNex resolution. Does anyone know if there are skins for it yet?

No skins but you can add an animation effect of the slide in the settings under curve. A small effect but it makes it that much more interesting.
