Jelly Bean: Whats that song?

help!! when i updated to jelly bean there was a widget from google play called whats this song (google ears) its like sound hound...anyway i recently did a factory reset and now the widget has gone but downloaded from android police and tried to install but it says that it is already installed but cant find the widget or app to put onto my homescreen so its useless atm could anybody help me???

Have you tried long pressing the screen? Should give you the option to add widgets. Just make sure you have enough room on the screen you want to put it on.

Just choose wallpaper on JB and ICS I think

They're in the app drawer too. Should have a tab at the top that says widgets.

If you can't see it, there's a big chance it became one of the frozen apps along with play books and play movies. Are you in the US?

Can they just freeze apps and widgets if you have already had them once
And used them ....a lot??

I'm not in the US as well and for my gnex, which started at 4.0.1 til 4.1.1, I had all of them but lost some after a reboot. What I did was to unfreeze the apps using mybackup pro and even after a reboot, it stays. I actually read that unfreezing is effective only when you don't reboot because every reboot freezes them back but I guess I just got lucky coz mine stays. Same scenario on my Nexus one. Those previously frozen stays usable even after a reboot. Different story though on my Nexus 7. I need to unfreeze every after reboot. Can't really explain but I'm just living with it. All gadgets rooted though so I can utilize that function
