Just did a search on Google Play,

Might be worth checking out...

I use android terminal emulator and I was able to run all of those commands you were trying to run. Are you rooted? I had to give it SuperUser permissions first though by typing "su" and then they all returned something. Those commands may not work without superuser permissions first.

Hi. I installed busybox and it seem to fix most of my problems.
I got grep and vi to work. But bash still doesn't work. It works on Terminal IDE but not Android Emu, I keep getting /system/bin/sh bash: not found
When you run out of spaces to type is it suppose to do this?
>>erases the line and does this.
any way to prevent that?
Thanks

I've never typed enough in terminal to have run out of spaces so I can't say for sure. About how much does it take before it erases the line? And are you sure it actually erases the line and isn't just showing that you've gone past a certain point and your stuff will show up when you press enter?
