Chrome Browser vs 4.1.1 Built-in Android Browser

Hi,

One of the few things i noticed when I flashed to 4.1.1, is that the default browser is still the same and not Chrome. Also, i've noticed that the default browser renders better and scrolls faster than the new Chrome browser. This is weird to me since I thought that Google is going to replace the default one with Chrome built-in.

Am I the only one who noticed this?

scince the update i use chrome. loads faster, more intuitive.

Some ROMs has chrome baked in I think kangbang did

Chrome to me has blown every other browser out of the water after the update. Syncs with all my devices, fast as all hell, and it just feels right (only way I can explain it lol) . It's pretty much all I could ask for in a browser.

When I updated to 4.1 I thought I would see Chrome replace the browser and was sadly mistaken. Chrome has a much better UI and features even if you say it's not as fast I still prefer it. It also fits the whole idea of the Gnex being "Google's phone".

since the code for two browsers is so similar i was thinking the same but it really should be in next update
