Deleting albums from the Gallery app?

Hi.

How can I delete Picasa albums from the built-in Gallery app?

The app lets me delete photos stored on my phone, but when I select photos on my Google (Picasa, I assume) storage, it won't give me a choice of deleting the selected items. Am I missing something?

You've got to do this via your PC .... I did it a while back and it took some time. I remember using my Google account and Google+ and deleting everything from there. )Be sure to deselect the sync from you phone first)

I deleted my Google+ account otherwise I'd give you more explicit directions - sorry.

Thanks for your reply. Now that I've learned that you can't do that on Gallery, I've downloaded the app called "Picasa Tools" from Google Play. That app actually lets me delete albums and photos right from there. Not even necessary to unsync my phone.

It would still be nice if I could do all those things from one application, though. Oh well.

For future reference (if someone searches for this thread), here's what I did to get rid of them:

-Clear cache/data from Gallery
-(**can't remember if I did this, try without first, then do this if it didn't work) Freeze gallery via Titanium Backup
-Remove Google account (Settings --> Accounts & Sync --> Google)
-Re-add Google account
-AS SOON as it takes you back to the account page, choose Google again, scrool to Google-Photos, and un-check
-(**) Unfreeze Gallery

This is how I got rid of it!
