Keyboard options ?

the stock keyboard is making me nuts with the space bar constantly getting "v" or a "b" in between words. tried swiftkey X, the space bar is better but it lags and the word learning is not as good. today i tried GO keyboard , it really lags and from what i can tell never learns a dang word but the space bar is a lot taller and i never have any "v" or "b"......

swype is not an option, i hate it.

anything else you guys/gals have tried thats any good ?

I have the same problem but can't find a good one either I always end up back at stock. I have been trying to hit lower but then I hit the home button. Think I might stay with stock longer and try to find the happy spot

SlideIt is my keyboard of choice right now (it was Ultra but the last update caused some lag / response issues)...

is slideit a standard type of keyboard is it like swype ?

It can be both - settings (displayed on the keyboard there is a toggle for slide typing or tap typing) for each and it is skinnable...they have a trial app (free) in the market...the keyboard is resizable in both landscape and portrait...

ok, im convinced, they all stink....

go keyboard was the worst, then slideIT, then swiftkey. i really liked swiftkey except it lags a bit...might have to give that more of a shot.

You didn't like SlideIt? LOL...anyway, have you tried "thumb" keyboard...there are a ton of them and I have tried most but I like swipe typing...I will have to look at what I have downloaded to offer more suggestions...

i forgot about better keyboard, used to run it on my old DX. i can find 1000 skins but not the actual keyboard app.

scratch perfect keyboard from the list....tried it and didnt like it

apparently better keyboard was cut from the market never to return. scratch that one...LOL
