    Some Updates..

Version 10.8 - The % symbol in icon now optional: I liked it, but some people didn't, so I made it optional.
Version 10.7 - Added % symbol to status bar icon: Mainly to go with the icons I created for Event Monitor.
Version 10.6 - Added system color widget option: For myself really, I like the look of a dual widget.

Version 10.9 - Tap widget color bar for ICS blue: The widget colors default to ICS Blue, and you can reset it by tapping the COLOR bar in the widget settings.

As a side note, I created some ICS blue status bar icons, I even brightened them up to max and despite that the status bar opacity made them look faded and wrong, compared to the clock, etc.. so I didn't include them. Sorry.

Version 11.0 - Tweaked ICS Blue to use #33B5E5: Sorry for the frequent updates, but I had to get this right.

Well done sir! I was a lover of the Clarus Widget for my battery status, but as of now, yours is the cleanest. Thank you again.

    Hi!
I am using the Battery Monitor, today my GNex powered off when the Battery Monitor still showed 37 percent (the nexus showed 0 of-course)
Is this normal? or is there some settings i am missing which will make the app more accurate?
    Cheers all!!!

Are you using Voltage-based ? The reason I ask is that the voltage based calculation is based on a typical battery range of 3.2-4.2 volts, which may not be in-line with what the OS expects. If the extended battery is an official Samsung battery then I would switch to System Returned Values, voltage based is really only for third-party batteries that are not reading correctly.

The discharging profile for voltage in a lithium-ion battery seems to be a quick initial drop-off, then for most of the discharging period it hovers around 40-60%, then will drop off rapidly again at the end. It's not a reliable way of measuring the % level, (it also fluctuates), but it's an option I made available to those that are using after-market extended batteries.

If you are not using Voltage based, then it means the Battery Monitor service was killed at 37%, I haven't seen that happen yet. But let me know if it does it again.

Thank you Sim2k for the instant reply.
I guess its my mistake then, cos I am using the GSM Nexus with the samsung supplied standard battery, with the voltage based calculation.
I should be using system returned values from now on...
    Hope I got it right.
