Tap on the voice icon (the microphone on your Google widget). Just say note to myself. Haven't tried it so don't know how you retrieve note. Check out the tutorial. Google voice search is really powerful.

Ok. You say "note to self", speak the note and press send. It sends a .amr file to your gmail account. Thanks.
Sure!

Hi there, I haven't tried the feature yet, however I am wondering if anyone knows it you can you have the "note to self" sent to a folder on the phone so you dont' have to access internet to retrieve it?![]()
Thanx Flint I will check this app out
Presumably a lot of Note apps do this. I use an excellent app called Catch notes. I have a widget on one of my home screens with the little microphone on it. Highly recommend this. Keep in mind if you're using the voice function on any apps you'll need a data connection. But the same widget has space to write your text as well. You can do that offline.
