Do accessories for SCH-i515 fit GT-i9250 as well?
Samsung ECS-K1F8BEGSTA is a car mount for SCH-i515 which costs about $25 at Amazon.
Samsung ECS-K1F2BE is quite similar, intended for GT-i9250, and costs about $80 at Amazon.
Several vendors of smartphone cases sell the same case for SCH-i515 & GT-i9250, which makes me suspect that these two phones are externally identical.
If I could be sure of that, I'd save $55 by buying the SCH-i515 mount for use with my GT-i9250.
And so would everybody else, if the word's out.
What do you think, guys?

Many of the accessories are compatible, but the phones are not identical in size. Most cases are interchangible, and if the mount does not use the three pins you may be ok, but I would think someone in the reviews for the item would have tried and posted. I do believe that the 515 is slightly bigger than the 9250. As for the difference in price, you are not comparing the same mount, the one for the 515 is just a mount, it does not offer charging through the pins, where the one for the 9250 does have that. If you need the one for the 9250, the play store has that one for $54.

Ignoring the price difference, all I need is a mount, neither a dock nor anything with charging capabilities, but one that holds the phone all around, as a TPU case does.
(The reason I thought the i9250's accessory was simple is that it's called a "holder" on Amazon.)
Anyway, I couldn't find for my i9250 something comparable to the ECS-K1F8BEGSTA i515 mount.
In the meantime I looked up the i9250 and i515 sizes and found that they differ only in thickness -- the i515 is just 0.02" thicker. From this point of view there shouldn't be a problem using the i515 mount for the i9250. What I'm still concerned about is the compatibility between i9250 and i515 in the locations and sizes of the control buttons and USB connection. The reviews on the mount and holder are precious few and don't touch upon this question. Does anyone out there know the answer? Thanks.
