Sad...Motorola S9-HD Stereo Bluetooth headset

So I just tried hooking up my Motorola S9-HD stereo bluetooth headset to my GNexus so I could listen to audiobooks while cleaning the fish tanks.
Well, it sync'd up perfectly. Created both a "phone" and "music" profile(s) - I thought this was pretty cool, the way the BT devices are layered and what not on here.

Unfortunately, I can't get any audio to come out Good to know that $90 device is compatible.

Thought I would share / gripe, and hope someone with the same device could say: "Rob, you're doing it wrong! ___________ " and explain how they have it working and I just missed something some where.
So, now to clean fish tanks while being tethered to my phone. Not cool...

Not sure...my Blueant connected on a single file with audio and phone...maybe check the permissions on the phone end?

Where do you have in mind?
I went into the Bluetooth area, clicked on the settings button to my connected moto headphons, and both options were checked. Was this what you meant? Or is there some place else you were thinking?

Nope...that's what I had in mind...sorry Rob...like I said, mine was effortless...my old plantronics on the other hand took 4 attempts to sync, but once it did it's worked fine too..

On my Tab to get my Jaybirds, Jabra 620s and Jawbone Icon to play nice, I turn them on then turn on the Tab bluetooth, then start the audio. For some reason it connects but sound doesn't come thru them unless I do it in that order since 3.2 pushed onto it.

Don't give up. I have an S9-HD and it connected great to my Nexus. I can hear media player without any problem. Are you sure you have the bluetooth volume turned up?

My issue... can't seem to get any of the media button controls to work. Also appears to be a problem with my Pioneer in my truck, so I am not convinced there isn't some bluetooth stack issues with ICS. Just not finding anything out on the web about it.

I have the first generation S9...it doesn't even show up in bluetooth search result

I would try going into bluetooth settings, and click the settings button next to the device you are trying to connect to, and unpair. Then turn off bluetooth, put the headset into pairing mode, turn on bluetooth, pair and try to connect. Maybe try that a few times...

On your motorola S9-HD, press and hold the volume up button and long press the power button until the indicator light flashes blue. This resets the Bluetooth device and makes it discoverable.

I faced the same issue with my Galaxy nexus and S9-HD. The fix is simple Go to bluetooth settings and then to the settings for the S9. Uncheck and then check the 'Media audio' profile. This fixed the problem for me. By the way, my nexus is Jellybean
