Oh Good Grief! Help please!

Remember when I was asking about bluetooth? Yeah? Well I've had one for four whole days now and I've lost the dang thing somewhere between last night and this morning. Will it "connect" on the phone if the device is miles away or will it only connect if it is close enough to do so? It is connecting so hopefully that means it is somewhere in the house. Does anybody know?

Usually about 30 feet Max. And it won't go through thick walls.

So you are saying that if it says "connecting' on the Nexus that it is nearby?

Yes. If it connects its nearby...if your car is near the room its trying to connect it may be there...don't ask how I found out...

Here is what it is doing. I go to the bluetooth option and it says "To see devices, turn Bluetooth on." I do. Then it shows my device greyed out with "connecting...." underneath. Then It shows my device name lit up in white. It doesn't say connected underneath or anything but I haven't had one long enough to know if it should. Does that mean anything? I really miss the little guy.

Unfortunately that's just the phone searching for the device.

Lesson learned though. I will never turn it off again if I ever find it. I thought I'd be conserving battery by turning it off between uses. I never even got the chance to charge it beyond the first out of the box charge. I'm such a bad bluetooth owner. Kids, don't be like me.
