black berry stereo headset? for galaxy nexus?

Hello, the 2nd hand galaxy nexus i bought did not come with a headset, I am just wondering, does the bb headset work on the galaxy nexus? Does the mic work? I have heard of apps controlling the volume and the tracks etc. What earphones are available that are decently priced that work well with the phone. by the way I DO NOT LIKE THE IN EAR HEADPHONES. I am talking about, apple earphones kind. The in ear ones seem to never stay in my ears. Any suggestions? Will be buying them from ebay, so any ebay links will be very helpfull.
