DVD Catalyst 4.1.5 Release Notes

New:
Note: This is all "Power User mode enabled" stuff !
A few months ago, I added a feature called CRF (info), which works great for optimizing your video quality while keeping the files reasonably small.
In this update, in addition to the "global" option for CRF, I included an option for the device profile settings. This works great for if you use DVD Catalyst's "Multi-Device" feature (convert your movies using multiple device profiles with 1 click), or if you want to do comparison conversions.

This new CRF setting is now also enabled by default for all the "HQXT" profiles. When I implemented the HQXT profile settings, the main thought behind it was to be able to use 1 profile for all your conversions, regardless of what original type you use. Of course CRF is the perfect match for that, because it only uses what it needs to maintain a consistent quality.
Also new is an additional "Shutdown" option.
While there already was a setting for turning off your computer after the conversions are complete, it takes a few extra steps to get there, so I placed it in a location that is easier accessible.

This way, if you need to go somewhere and want DVD Catalyst to turn off your computer, its just a simple click. The setting is not remembered when you restart DVD Catalyst, so when you come back, you can just run your conversions as normal, and you just enable this when needed.
New, upon user request, is a "Wait" button for the conversions.

Pausing an actual conversion is always tricky, especially with DVDs, because at the pause-point, there are chances for a glitch in video and/or audio. So I made a wait-button that enables you to pause the conversion list once a conversion is finished.
If you tap the Wait button, DVD Catalyst will finish the current conversion, but it will wait until you tap the button again before it actually starts the next conversion.
By pausing the conversion list, it frees up your computer for doing other things, and once you are done, you can just continue the conversion from where you paused it.

To update your existing DVD Catalyst 4 installation, just tap on the cat-eyes in DVD Catalyst 4 to have it check for updates, or use the download link you received upon purchase.
If you can not download the update, just send me an email, and at least mention the email address you used for purchase.
